Enjoy the walk/cycle pathway that extends from beyond the township of Augusta along the river, to the ocean and onto the marina.

Fishing - this area is well known for dhufish, snapper, whiting, herring, bream and many other fish species.

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse - climb the Lighthouse and have the best view of where two oceans meet

Wineries - this area is well known for its winery region. There are so many scrumptious wines to taste and many award winning wineries to choose from, just a short drive away.

Chocolate and Cheese Factories - get yourself a yummy treat.

History - the Landing Place, whaling station and the water wheel, just to name a few.

Walks - take a leisurely walk along the ocean and river, or get more adventurous and hike the many bush trails around the area.

Caves - Jewel Cave, the magnificent structures and lofty chambers are a sight to be seen

Whales - the Southern Right and Humpback Whales migrate through this area from June to September.

Abundant Sea life - dolphins make frequent appearances at the beach just 50 metres from Jecks Cottage.
